The textile industry contributes hugely to direct and indirect employment generation, foreign exchange, and gross domestic product of a country. But despite its massive importance, the textile industry is also the second-most polluting industry. So, there is a need to optimise and streamline the operations to make them more environmentally friendly.

The rapid advancement of machine learning (ML) technologies is having a critical impact on the life sciences. Big Data, the Internet of Things (IoT), and advanced analytics act as supports to ML technology and are simultaneously driving the market forwards. AI and ML are set to transform numerous industries, and by association, our entire way of life. But it’s the life sciences that are at the heart of this change.

The underlying technologies driving vehicle connectivity also intersect with increasing levels of vehicle autonomy and electrification. The trends reinforce one another, and the industry's transformation is being powered by synergies between them.

For the very first time, a study of IPG together with Kobe Research & Consulting analyzed 75 leading companies regarding how they organize their business model innovation activities along the main phases of innovation. Here is a glimpse look into one important finding.

Switzerland, the United States, Sweden, the United Kingdom, and the Netherlands are the world’s most-innovative economies, according to WIPO’s 2022 Global Innovation Index (GII), with China on the threshold of the top 10. Other emerging economies are also showing consistently strong performance, including India and Türkiye, both of which enter the top 40 for the first time.

The manufacturing industry is on the verge of a data‑driven revolution. Companies are collaborating in hyperconnected value networks, using data‑and‑analytics applications to drive productivity, develop new customer experiences and improve the societal and environmental impact of companies.

Back in the “olden days”, it was obvious that a firm needed to choose between two types of business architecture. Yet during the 2010s, something strange was happening. Firms were beginning to use digital technology to achieve organizational ambidexterity at scale. Such firms could generate complex interactive operations with very large numbers of customers.
